The Eminem x Carhartt x Air Jordan 4
Released in 2015, this sneaker has a deeper story.
One that intertwines Eminem's legacy, charity, and a distinctive collaboration with Jordan Brand and Carhartt.
Eminem, a Detroit native, has long been associated with Nike and Jordan Brand, frequently wearing their sneakers throughout his career.
His love for these brands led to some of the most coveted sneaker collaborations.
Prior to the 2015 release, Eminem had collaborated with Nike for a special edition of the Air Jordan 4, released in 2005, to celebrate his "Encore" album.
This release was incredibly limited, with only 50 pairs made available exclusively to Eminem's friends and family.

Fresh Look
The design of the sneaker is characterized by its simplicity and robust appeal.
It features a black, white, and chrome color palette, exuding a sleek and stylish look. The upper is made from Carhartt's signature black twill, lending the shoe a rugged texture.
The sneaker is adorned with metallic silver lace tabs and a contrasting white midsole. The design includes unique details like Eminem’s backward "E" logo and a Jason Voorhees mask at the heel, adding a personal touch from the artist.
The insole bears Eminem's branding, and the shoe features chrome eyelets, a clear grey outsole, and a luxurious leather lining.

Big Money, Low Stock
This release wasn't Eminem's first foray into sneaker collaborations, but it was one of the most exclusive and sought-after.
In total, only 333 pairs were rumored to be made, a number believed to be a homage to Detroit's area code.
Of these, ten pairs were released to the public through an eBay auction, with all proceeds going to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, a charity that provides assistance to disadvantaged and at-risk youth in Detroit and surrounding areas.
The auction was highly successful, raising a total of $227,552 for the Literacy Through Songwriting program.
The demand for these sneakers was extraordinarily high, leading to a postponement of the auction to prepare for the overwhelming interest.
The sneakers were eventually auctioned, with bids starting at around $10,000 and reaching as high as $30,100 for some pairs.

Up Next For Bid: Eminem x Carhartt
In essence, the Eminem x Carhartt x Air Jordan 4 is a symbol of Eminem's enduring influence in music and fashion, his connection to Detroit, and his dedication to philanthropy.
The collaboration stands as a unique chapter in the history of sneaker culture, blending style, exclusivity, and a noble cause.
